The Commissioner Nagaland is the Head of Department of Civil Administration Works Division (CAWD). The CAWD is the executing agency for all the infrastructural and development works under General Administration (GA) including maintenance of GA assets. CAWD is presently maintaining 1615 nos of both hill types and RCC buildings. CAWD supervises/implements all GA projects in the administrative towns of the State. The projects taken up include office buildings, officer’s residence, GA rest houses and residential quarters for GA staffs in all Administrative centres starting from EAC Hqs upto DC Hqs. The division is headed by an Executive Engineer assisted by 8(eight) Assistant Engineers covering 12(Twelve) District Headquarters and 14 (fourteen) JEs in the districts.
