The Commissioner, Nagaland is designated as the Registrar for the registration of persons under the UIDAI (Unique Identity Authority of India) for the State. The State comes under the UIDAI regime and till date there are 57 (fifty seven) Enrolment Agencies (EA) functioning under different districts, sub-division and circle administrative offices. Necessary technical training has been imparted and many of the EAs are operational.
